Freser's Hill

Rising 1,500 meters above sea-level on the Titiwangsa mountain range of Peninsular Malaysia is Fraser's Hill. Named after a solitary Scottish pioneer, James Fraser, who set up a tin-ore trading post in the 1890s, it actually consists of seven hills. Fraser's Hill is truly an idyllic place for one to rest and to escape from not only the heat and humidity but also the hustle and bustle of city life. It is perhaps the prettiest of the Malaysian Hill resorts.

There are hotels, resorts and chalets available on the hill. Tudor cottages sit among brilliantly coloured gardens shaded by lofty pine trees.

HORSE RIDES There is a horse stable here with 7 horses and ponies. Visitors especially children are thrilled with the pony rides here. One round of ride is RM4.00 for adults and RM3.00 for children.

The specific area is the deeper end of The Paddock behind the horse stable where there is a cluster of pine trees. The ground has a slight slope but well turfed.
There is no charge for the use of the area for picnics but visitors are reminded to keep the place clean and to bring their own garbage bags. In Fraser's Hill, there are strict by-laws that prohibit littering, pollution and open-burning. Water for cleaning can be obtained from the rest rooms nearby.

Golf enthusiasts can take their pick from a smaller 9-hole course to an 18-hole course in Frasers’ Hill. The 9-hole course is an old heritage course designed by Frank Hemmant in 1925 with undulating fairways and rolling greens bordered by pine trees. The 18-hole Jeriau course designed by Roger Davis is 3 km away from the town centre, providing a challenging course for golfers.

Hard Rock

Hard Rock Cafe is a legendary group of casual dining restaurants. It was founded in 1971 by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton, and their first Hard Rock Cafe opened near Hyde Park Corner in London, in a former Rolls Royce car dealerships showroom close to Hyde Park, where in 1979 they began to cover the walls with rock 'n' roll ephemera.There are more than 143 Hard Rock Cafes in over 36 countries at current date, with several more in the works. Hard Rock was most popular in the 1980s when some people engaged in the hobby of visiting as many locations as possible and collecting a Hard Rock t-shirt bearing the Cafe logo and the location name. Tahan Lot

The temple of Tanah Lot stands on a rocky island just off the southwest coast of Bali. One of Bali's most sacred sea temples, Tanah Lot is dedicated to the guardian spirits of the sea. The temple itself is said to be guarded from evil by the sea snakes that inhabit the caves below.
The temple itself is not accessible to visitors, but magnificent views can be had from a variety of points nearby. Crowds especially gather on the terraces nearby to watch the glow of the sunset behind the temple. Naturally, there are plenty of souvenir shops and cafes with a view to keep you well-supplied while doing so.

A very romantic afternoon of Tanah Lot, another of Bali’s famous scenic wonders. Suspended on a huge rock off shore and set apart from the mainland by a stone basin, it is the most romantic and indescribable view for your eyes and camera, when the temple dissolves into a striking silhouette against the simmering evening sky.

Lake Bratan

Bratan Lake is located next to Mount Bratan and Mount Catur. It is the second largest lake in Bali. Filling the crater of the inactive volcano Mount Catur, Bratan Lake sits at over 1,200 meters above sea level. The important temple of Pura Ulun Danu solemnly guards the lake. The resort area of Bedugul offers excellent views of the lake, as well as a number of water activities. Providing a cool retreat from the hot and humid regions of Bali, its shores provide the traveler with hotels and restaurants and its cool waters offer parasailing, water-skiing, banana-boat rides and other water sports. Some Japanese caves across the lake were dug during World War II. While in the area hike to the beautiful shrines that dot the lakeshore and forested hills around the lake or visit the beautiful Pura Ulun Danu Bratan.
